This saga begins with man’s callous trespassing on a sacred patch of land tucked away within Japan’s vast natural and supernatural dominion and ends coldly in blood, death, regret, and honor.
A lone ninja, who finds himself unable to avenge his lost village, is given spiritual direction in this quest. His vengeance can not be wielded by the end of his sword, but surprisingly only at the end of a hunter’s rifle barrel. Some partnerships are forged in steel and can overcome all forces that are thrust upon them, but some partnerships are not. Blindness comes in many forms, and so does its repercussions. Not all that can be seen is seen.
Upon hearing about the team that Fenom Comics was assembling for this project, there was immediate interest on my part to become involved. It has been an absolute pleasure being able to participate in this incredible journey. This was the first project that I was able to work on all twelve issues before launch. With that, always under the meticulous direction of Tom and Joe, there was the possibility to adjust key story and character details, which allowed everything to be perfect at launch.
